Nest Audio Pairing 1.2.0 — MNSinLA
Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple.

Contains a prebuilt universal app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, targeting macOS 13.0 or later.
Other hardware/OS combinations have not been tested. The original setup worked on a Mac mini M4 with macOS 26.6.2.
No Xcode or compiler is required to run a usable prebuilt release.

After unzipping, open NestAudioPairing.app. Allow Bluetooth access if macOS asks.
Choose Pair a New Speaker for initial setup. For an existing speaker, select it to automatically check and reconnect. Use Connect to check the saved connection on demand.
If the saved connection fails, choose Pair Again. Follow the two steps: forget only that speaker in Bluetooth Settings, then enable speaker pairing mode and open the pairing window.
The app cannot silently forget a device or enable pairing mode on the speakers.
After connecting, the app checks sound output. Choose Use These Speakers if needed, then Start Stereo Test. Confirm that you hear left, right, then both, or choose Something’s Wrong for help. Quit the helper afterward.
There is no driver, installer, login item, or ongoing helper process.
No factory reset is performed. This utility does not guarantee reduced audio latency.

To undo: restore your previous Sound output and forget the newly paired Bluetooth device.
Delete this helper and revoke its Bluetooth permission if no longer needed.
MNSinLA is independent of Google and Apple.
